Featured Land Development Project
SouthWorks District, Ithaca, NY
As part of a dynamic team working in collaboration with Unchained Properties, LLC, Fagan Engineers (FE) is leading the Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) development process for the SouthWorks District (SWD) in Ithaca, NY. Engineering around existing conditions, FE plans to incorporate Green Infrastructure and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND), as part of the overall master plan. Located on South Hill in the former Emerson Power Transmission Plant, SWD will develop new areas of the site, and re-purpose the existing 821,000 square feet of former industrial buildings, which have been vacant since 2009. Using sustainable design principles, SWD will be developed as an urban “Live/Work/Play” mixed use district that will include apartments, office space, flex space, parks, and areas of light manufacturing. This transformational project will consist of up to 1,700,000 square feet on 95 acres that traverses the City/Town municipal boundary located near Ithaca College.

FE has been directly involved with this project from the beginning up to the present time. Scope has included zoning and planning, civil engineering, construction administration, and surveying.

FE was responsible for all aspects of site design including survey, master planning, permitting, civil site design, wastewater management, and construction administration.

This project consisted of FE completing civil site design, wastewater management, construction administration, and survey.
Barrington Estates West
Town of Horseheads, NY
FE was responsible from inception to completion for this 60 acre subdivision. Scope of work included survey, zoning and planning, civil site design, stormwater management, and construction inspections.
Seneca Beverage Corporation
Town of Elmira, NY
Construction of a 91,000 sq ft warehouse and office building on a 14.95 acre parcel. The scope of work for this re-development project consisted of survey, zoning and planning, civil site design, stormwater management, and construction administration.
